The TAUBE 100 Family Aerial Targets are autonomous targets designed to provide a threat-representative drone to support the Ground-to-Air Weapon System evaluation and test programs.
The drones are constructed of carbon fiber and epoxy-based materials, and are capable of fly from 80 km/h (49 mph) to 400 km/h (249 mph) factual airspeed at sea level and in altitudes from 30 m (100 ft) above the ground level to 3.000 m (10,000 ft) sea level. Manoeuvres include G-turns up to 20 Gs, and other aerial acrobatics.
The drones are launched from a rail system and could be preserved from destruction by a parachute recovery system. Recovered targets are then repaired, tested and reused.
The TAUBE 100 Family Aerial Targets can carry a full range of current target payloads, which include infrared and radar enhancements and a flare dispenser set. Could be as well equipped with RSC Hot Nose feature.
